Performing Arts Academy:
Studio 79 work in partnership with colleges in Leicestershire to offer professional training in dance and musical theatre, delivering high quality training by experienced industry professionals for aspiring young performers. Students are trained in dance, singing and drama and are given the opportunity to demonstrate their new found skills in full scale performances, alongside local and national high scale events. Performances this academic year have included; The Dance Show Live and The Curve Theatre. We source the best teachers and the finest facilities to give our students the ultimate training experience, preparing them for a professional career in performance.

Dance:
While training on the academy students will learn: tap, ballet, modern jazz, contemporary, commercial and performance skills.

Musical Theatre:
Students will learn: dance, singing and drama particularly focusing on musical theatre combining all three aspects in a performance piece. For both dance and musical theatre students will have the opportunity to perform solos and group assembles.  They will learn technique, style and performance which will enhance their abilities to audition and work within the industry.
